Memphis TN to Rockford IL

This past weekend was filled with blessings as we first headed to the land of my birth - Tennessee. Although I was born in Knoxville - not Memphis. However St. Francis Church where we did a show Saturday (4/16) was a pretty sweet church. Even the nuns and D.R.E. were gettin crunk. The day was a plesant reunion with The Critic who I had not done a show with in some time. It was also the first show with Average M.C. who I will be traveling this whole next year with. Needless to say it was a good time sharing the stage with those two. The peeps were incredibly warm ready to dance. I think those kids learned how to dance from Rick James...cause they were superfreaks (in a good way). On top of a blessed show - Memphis blessed us us with some killer Japanese cuisine as they always do. yum
From thur it was off to Rockford, IL where we had 2 more days of getting IL. (get it? getting ill...) Those people are the salt of the earth I tell ya. Just very genuine, kind people. Their accent however sounds like a flippin mix between Coach Z and Fargo. Average M.C. disagrees. Probably cause he's a native. Either way they were salt of the earth, some flavorful heads. Thanks to all especially Len and Colleen who so graciously loved on us and Dr. Decibel - the weirdest and wildest soundman I've ever seen. (The guy drove an ambulance with the sound board on a gurney. I wish I had my stinkin camera. Peath out.
